Your appointment
You are the focus
Our appointment length should ensure you feel heard and we have established a clear plan moving forward.
We have the following appointment types:
-
All new clients to Tweed Neuro Physio will be required to have an initial consultation. The appointment will run for around 60 minutes and will involve a thorough discussion about how your condition and accompanying symptoms are currently impacting you to ensure we have an understanding of your health and symptoms prior to a thorough assessment . If this is an appointment for a vestibular condition please bring along a support person to drive you home as the appointment may stir up your symptoms for a short period of time.
-
Follow-up appointments will vary depending on your needs from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the complexity of your condition and symptoms. Your Physiotherapist will discuss this with you at the end of your initial consultation. During this session, your Physiotherapist will tailor the therapy to your needs and condition and you will most likely be given a tailored independent program to complete at home. To see the best results it is important to be consistent with your program.
-
This includes a Physiotherapist travelling to your place of residence to provide in home Physiotherapy. This includes a 60 minute session plus the additional cost of travel to and from your home from the clinic.
This may be best suited for those who have goals based in the home environment or find transportation in and out of the clinic too difficult. We service the Tweed & Byron regions.
Check out our FAQ's to see if your suburb is listed - otherwise please call us to discuss home visits to your area.
-
Group classes are launching soon at Tweed Neuro Physio, if you are particularly interested in group classes please make contact to further discuss how we can make this work for you.
-
Telehealth is available for some consultations, for you to receive assessment and management from the comfort of your own home. Where possible we first recommend a face-to-face initial consultation prior to transitioning to telehealth wherever possible. However, if due to transport or locality you are unable to access the clinic please make contact to discuss telehealth consultations.
We provide services to private clients, NDIS, DVA, Medicare Chronic Care Programs (formally EPC) & work-cover.
